ABOUT THE EVENT

The National Tennis Club at the International Tennis Hall of Fame is honored to host the 2025 Real Tennis World Championship. The match days will be held on the following dates:

Day One: Tuesday, September 23rd
Day Two: Thursday, September 25th
Day Three: Saturday, September 27th

We are excited for a week-long showcase of extraordinary court tennis with Camden Riviere vying to defend his title. His challenger will be one of the following four contenders: John Lumley, Nick Howell, Ben Taylor-Matthews, or Steve Virgona. The challenger will be decided through the eliminator process beginning in March.

The autumn is a beautiful time to visit Newport, Rhode Island, and the club will have a robust schedule of social activities alongside the main event. For those who are looking for athletic activities, we will be running a handicapped court tennis doubles event called The Pineapple Cup. We will also be providing an informational packet of ‘things-to-do’ in Newport, should you wish to enjoy all that the area has to offer.
